What departments are available at AKH?
Aditya Kamaraja Hospitals is a multi-speciality hospital. The main pathways are Eye Care (Aditya Kamaraja Eye Clinic), Integrated Sleep Care and General Medicine, along with specialist departments: General Surgery and Surgical Gastroenterology, Pain Management and Orthopaedics, Pulmonology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Urology, Neurology and Plastic Surgery. How do I book a consultation?

Do I need an appointment?
It depends on the department. Eye Care welcomes walk-ins during consultation hours, 10 am to 1 pm and 6 to 9 pm, all days except Tuesday. Integrated Sleep Care welcomes walk-ins and also offers online consultations. General Medicine welcomes walk-ins on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. All other specialties are by appointment only.
Are walk-ins available?
Yes, for Eye Care, Integrated Sleep Care and General Medicine during their consultation hours. For the other specialties, please book an appointment so that the specialist is available when you come.
Are online consultations available?
Online consultations are available for sleep-related concerns through Integrated Sleep Care, so you can consult our sleep physicians from the comfort of your home. Other departments see patients in person.
